I spent the weekend visiting some garage sales around Hobart. Every now and then I get the urge to check these sales out, you never know what you are going to find. The first place I stopped at wasn’t a great success, mostly old furniture and sporting goods. The next stop was much better – some interesting old records and books of Tasmanian photography. I am quite a camera enthusiast, and I always enjoy looking at great nature photos so those books were a great pick up. After a spot of lunch I continued on my way but didn’t have a great deal of success, so decided to buy a coffee and have a look through my newly acquired photo books. There were some wonderful pictures in there and after an hour or two gazing at those images I decided to go for a drive the very next day and take some shots myself.
