My Favorite Scary Movie of All Time

2012

I think my favorite Scary Video would have to be Friday the 13th. It’s one of those movies which will always have a spooky effect on me. I first watched it when I was in grade school. We had a sleep over at my best friend’s house. Her brother rented the video and we watched it with him and his cousins. We never watch horror films at home. My dad prohibits it and he thinks that it is not good for our mental health.

The movie was pretty scary for a 12 year-old kid. The whole time that we were watching it, my best friend and I have our hands on a pillow. I felt my heart racing everytime there is a chase scene. I did not understood adrenalin rush back then but I think that’s what I felt during that time. That night, my friend and I had trouble sleeping.

A Great Romantic Comedy for Guys

... The Office (the US version) starring Steve Carrell as Michael ScottThe movie “The 40-Year-Old Virgin” is one of the good romantic comedies that will make you laugh until the very end. To some extent I see this movie as the guy version of a chick flick. The plot is really shallow and obviously it is all about the misadventures of a 40-year old virgin played by The Office lead actor, Steve Carrell, in his desperate attempt to finally do it. What makes it really good is the effortless execution of hilarious moments and perfect delivery of witty remarks. Carrell is supported by other equally talented yet virtually unknown actors of that time.

What I love the most about this movie is that it is devoid of any corny punch lines that most guys do not really use in real life and cheesy moments that will melt your heart. It captures the dialogues, sarcasm and psychology of guys talking about this issue. You better watch the ending for it will really crack you up.

Finding That Good Movie to Watch

Terminator 1 Terminator T600 Skull USB Drive appears in JapanFor those that are movie buffs, one of the worst things that you can do is pick up a movie from your local store, pop it in and find out that it’s a huge dud. Who really wants to sit through a movie for a few hours to find out that you just can’t stand it. Instead of wasting your money and time in the future, here’s what I do in order to find the best movies.

First, make sure that you know which movie review sites to look at. You’ll want to consider sites such as rottentomatoes or even others that have a big membership base. This is a great way to look for reviews from people such as you and I. From there, make sure that you see what they are saying. You’ll want to read into the good as well as the bad. As long as you take reviews from at least three review sites, you should be able to find a movie that is rather good.
